About Travel Retail
Travel Retail Americas oversees all Travel Retail operations across the Americas (over 900 points of sale) including airports, cruise ships, airlines, downtown duty-free stores, and border stores.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Manage and execute the shop fitting rollout for a portfolio of over 30 L’Oréal Group multidivision brands across Travel Retail Americas.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the brand’s concept identity, quality, and details are consistently maintained and adapted to the unique requirements of airport environments.
- Implement the standardized model approved by the Hub, incorporating local technical specifications as needed.
- Support the execution of Flagship and Premium projects, aiming for excellence in retail standards.
- Design all Mainstream store layouts based on Point of Sale (POS) segmentation.
Strategy & Vision
- Support the commercial team and retailers in business development by providing retail expertise and strategic positioning.
- Monitor and manage budget investments in alignment with retail segmentation.
- Consolidate and review briefs received from the commercial team and retailers to ensure clear and effective communication.
Growth & Performance
- Oversee and ensure production quality with vendors and in-store prior to implementation.
- Share best practices with internal teams and the Zone to drive continuous improvement.
- Innovate to advance eco-design initiatives in support of the SBWA sustainability program at L’Oréal.
Your Key Stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and field teams to manage complete projects for store openings or refits, including all assets, POS materials, visuals, and videos.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in designing seamless omnichannel customer experiences and executing impactful product merchandising strategies.
- Strong expertise in budget management, ensuring efficient allocation and control of resources.
- Creative and technical visionary with a deep understanding of local cultural nuances to tailor strategies effectively.
- Highly autonomous and exceptionally organized, capable of managing projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, fostering strong partnerships with local retailers, suppliers, and internal teams including Marketing and Sales.
- Proficient in SketchUp Pro and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
